This guide will help you unlock all 29 achievements by showing all the locations/methods needed for all achievements. You can jump to each one from the table menu.
DISCLAIMER: Speak to Erich (the fish) from the very beginning whenever he has a ! bubble over his head. Each time before you pick up the new paper plane talk to Erich.
Episode 1989
In a West End town, a dead end world
This achievement is unlockable right in the beginning after Kolja stands up, as you go to the window where the paper plane flew in from. Pick it up and let the dialogue with Erich happen.
After the dialogue is finished you will see an eye icon on the open window.

Click on it, until you see all points of interests. The points of interests are:
- “Something” on the very right of the other side.
- “The other side”
- “Cinema“
- The circled eye where the paper plane came from.
- “More windows“
- “Church“
- “TV Tower“
- “Windows“
- “The Wall“
After you clicked on all of them, press Back and the achievement will unlock.

Bullseye
The next achievement unlocks right after you go into the hallway of your apartment to call the number you received. Once Kolja gets rejected due to a busy line, head back to the room with the window where Erich is. Make sure to always check if Erich wants to talk, this is needed for another achievement later.
Look next to the bed on the left side with the pile of boxes and books, there you will find a guide on how to make paper planes yourself. This process is just dragging the white lines until you are done with the plane.

Now go back to the window and be ready to throw the paper plane, you need to hit the balcony (red circled) first try to be able to unlock this, otherwise you have to start a new game save.

Once you see this, go ahead and click it until you’re in the Window view. Kolja will aim the paper plane toward the balcony, and you can choose a height, so make sure to go a little higher as you steer the paper plane with your mouse (or controller), where up is down and down is up. Make sure to land directly on the balcony (hitting everything inside the circle), and the achievement will unlock.

Enough TV for today!
The next achievement unlocks right after you celebrate your paper plane success and Kolja starts talking about the poor plants. Pick up the watering can and head directly toward the TV on the left, then pour water on it until it buzzes. This unlocks the achievement.

With Style
The next achievement unlocks after a series of exchanges with the neighbour and a little prank on the wall guards. After the alarm settles and you talk to Erich ( do not forget! ) you go to the closet.

Just try on all three to unlock the achievement. Simple!
Comrade Erich, Socialist
This achievement will unlock after you talk to Erich everytime he offers it, which means: After every major part of the story and BEFORE you pick up new paper planes from Lu, talk to Erich. This will unlock the achievement at the dinner table.
Tear down this wall!
For this achievement you just have to keep playing until you reach the end of the first Episode, Episode 1989. This unlocks after the storm hits so bad that Kolja cannot throw his paper plane out, so Lou calls him instead.
Destroyer
After the end of the first Episode you get transported to the “now”, where you play as Dilara.
First, go into the kitchen and grab the hammer to destroy the tiles. Do it on each side of the wall, since there are also hidden letters behind those, and keep destroying until you unlock the achievement.
Episode 1933
Come on, little one!
After finding the letter on the right side of the wall in the kitchen as you play as Dilara, her dad will tell you a story about Josef, who has a little bird. The first thing you do in this episode is talk to him and let him out of his cage until the phone rings. Go grab the phone, talk, and get the list of things you need. After that, go back into the kitchen and head to the window where Bismarck is sitting. Talk to him, keeping it up until there is no little * anymore, and make him fly away. This unlocks the achievement.

The last one
This achievement unlocks when you reach Josef’s movie room. As you keep fulfilling the list and also open every drawer you find (for another achievement), you’ll eventually reach this room and see a camera on the shelves.

Where the white spot is, that’s the camera (already picked up in this screenshot, sorry). Just pick it up. Josef says there’s still film in it and that he could take a last photograph, so you decide what it is. Once you’ve done it, the achievement unlocks.
One heavy suitcase
This one is a mean achievement since you have to replay Josef’s Episode when you get it wrong, luckily you can replay the Episodes from Dilara’s Memory Box later on. But here is the right puzzle:

Completionist
This achievement will be unlocked when you interact with all drawers, before you close the Suitcase.
Let’s get out of here!
This achievement will unlock when you go out of the backdoor in Josef’s apartment.
Intermittent fasting
As you come back to the “present” you put all the memories inside the box. After that you are presented with a lunchbox and two plates, do not put anything on Malik’s plate and bring it to him. This will unlock the achievement.

Brotzeit
This achievement will unlock when you bring Malik a full plate of a nice sandwich. Requires replaying to unlock the Brotzeit and Intermittent fasting achievement (you can most likely just reload the checkpoint and do each of those, or give him your plate, but I have not tested that.)
Episode 1945
All I want for Christmas…
For this achievement you need to go to the Radio and simply turn it on.

Borrowed
Empty your basket in the room until you need to grab your coat to go to the forbidden room, before doing that you can snatch Lukas’ hat. This will unlock the achievement.
Lights in the dark
This achievement unlocks once you reach the forbidden room to search for decorations for the sad Christmas tree. Make sure to light all candles at the same time. They all die after a certain amount of seconds so hurry up. The locations are:

O Christmas Tree
This achievement unlocks after you decorate the Christmas tree with all bullets and cutlery, this is enough. You need to hang them onto the tree until the tree is fully covered. Make sure to search every area where a candle is in the forbidden room to get all decorations, even if you don’t need them.
Good soup
This one is actually very easy, sit on your spot, talk to your mother and press the button to eat until you reach 10. This will unlock the achievement.
Merry Crisis
This achievement unlocks after Lukas finished his music. (You can skip it, but i would not! MERRY CHRISTMAS!)
Bully
This achievement can probably be unlocked at the very beginning (at least after Episode 1), but I only did it after Episode 1945. Throw a ball at your father, then it will unlock.
Rampage
This achievement can be unlocked when you throw the tool box out of the window right where Malik is.
Episode 1967
Would you kindly?
This achievement will unlock when you open all doors in the apartment once everything starts floating and you can stand up.
1967: A Space Odyssey
This achievement will unlock when you wander around in the corridors of your spaceship looking for coffee, take your time, comment on everything or just stand around until the 10 minute mark.
Scarcity economy
This achievement will unlock after you found your way to the coffee machine room, just use it and you get this achievement. It’s rather simple, thank god!
My book, my name!
For this achievement to unlock you have to eject the core at the very last step (after you jump through the window when you are done talking to your dad). Once you eject it, it should unlock the achievement. What you can do to unlock the other achievement “Ghostwriter” is to instantly load the last checkpoint and decide for the other option.

Ghostwriter
This achievement unlocks when you decide to save your story despite not being credited, thus choosing the option “The cosmonaut let herself be drawn into the depths of space“.
Besteller
This achievement will unlock right after you made your decision, to either save your book or give it to your dad.
Our Story
That is the last achievement you will unlock after successfully completing the game.
Final Words
This was a beautiful, yet also sad, look back at Germany’s history. It really makes you think about all the stories that apartments and houses have witnessed over the years. I really enjoyed it, and I hope you did too! If you enjoyed this guide, I’d be happy if you shared it with a friend who loves achievement hunting!
