Anthology of Fear is a recently released first-person indie horror game developed by OhDeer Studio and 100 GAMES, that puts you in the role of a man searching for his lost brother. On your way, you will face paranormal events and have to find clues to unravel the truth. The strongest point of the game is its story, which, although short, is well written and brutal.

The game’s performance is adequate, though some players reported that there were some laggy parts in the game, which were minor. The graphics in the game are nothing new; we’ve seen them before, but they’re not really that important because they’re good enough to provide the appropriate level of immersion.

Good Story

The story is important, and it’s pretty well written for an indie horror game. While the ending isn’t perfect, this game is a good example of how a story can be written, and we hope that the developers continue down that path. In today’s world, it’s not enough for a game to look good; it must also have depth, which Anthology of Fear provides.

For the scary part, I’d say the game isn’t particularly frightening, but the story is. There are a few jumpscares and a creepy sound environment, but if you’re not easily scared, it won’t make you uncomfortable.

Price

The price, however, is a little high, at $15 for about 2 hours of gameplay. While the game can be completed in a short amount of time, the story is well written and compensates for any flaws in the game.

Overall, Anthology of Fear is a thrilling experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The game’s focus on its story, along with its immersive atmosphere, makes it a horror indie game worth checking out. If you’re a fan of short, but well-written horror games, then Anthology of Fear is definitely worth the investment.
